Alf Whittaker

After graduating with honours in a science discipline, Alf had a successful career in Technical Sales and Factory Management before choosing to work as an independent consultant and IT specialist in 1984.

He has had experience in a variety of industries, and has prepared bespoke administration software to specifications provided by the clients. He enjoys a good reputation for systems which are very detailed and yet are simple in use. Alf has developed a program for swimming lesson providers which is straightforward to follow and easy to understand.

He has worked on the pool program with various people at busy leisure centres in the North West for over 12 years. His initial task was to develop a computer software package which would help to manage the hugely successful 'learn-to-swim' scheme which had already been built up. In a programme of continuous improvement, a package has been evolved which has great capability. It has proved to be invaluable to the business and vital to efficiency.
